I am an avid hiker and up until now used more traditional bags that are cumbersome. The nice thing about this bag is that I can carry water and snacks with me on my hikes. Furthermore its unbelievably comfortable and well padded. The wet bag is an added plus just incase you get caught in a freak storm while still a ways from home. I couldn't ask for anything more especially at this price. I could use a tiny bit more space at times but I knew going in the size of this bag and they have the larger if you want more space/want to bring your laptop. If your looking for a nice carry bag give it a try you won't be sorry and adorama is a joy to deal with.

After reading reviews about this pack, I had high expectations. The KATA 465 totally met these expectations! The camera and gear are very well protected in the bottom compartment. There is plenty of room in the top to stuff a few other hiking things like munchies. Best of all, and the main reason I picked this pack is it doesn't scream out "camera bag". I store my equipment in this bag exclusively now- 1 camera with lens attached, 1 additional lens, flash, and various smaller items like filters and batteries and such.

The DR-465 Digital Rucksack features a unique TST RIB structural protection for two D/SLR with mounted lens, 3-4 lenses, flash, additional accessories and personal gear. By removing the padded bottom camera insert you can easily convert this rucksack from a camera bag to a daypack when not shooting.
The main compartment holds a D/SLR in top grip position while the modular dividers system will separate, organize and protect lenses, flashes and other accessories to suit your particular needs.
The large top compartment will hold personal gear or additional equipment, and the internal pockets and mp3 player pouch will allow you to organize your personal effects as efficiently as your photographic gear. Ample external pockets allow quick zippered access to supplies and a water bottle/ tripod support pocket pulls out from a side pocket.
Included rain cover folds neatly away into an integrated pocket and can be hung out to dry on the small buckle next to the handle, or tucked away for storage in one of the pockets.
When carrying, a chest belt and balancing waist strap are available for ultimatecomfort, and the rucksack is also compatible with the Kata Insertrolley if wheel along transportation is needed. (Insertrolley not included).
