The speed of transfer with usb 3.0 to usb 3.0 is very fast. I transferred a 12GB file under 5 minutes. I also used this flash drive to watch movies on my smart TV. When streaming videos, it may lag at times, but on this flash drive, it worked without any lag, but that may also depend on your smart tv. This device when you hold it feels very sturdy. The silver parts are constructed with probably aluminum but on the inside when you close the flash drive, you can tell that inside its made of plastic. It has a good weight to it overall, which when I hold it, it doesn't feel like I can easily break it. Now the design of this device, I find it normal to slide the slide back in order to use it, but its a bit weird that in order to not use it/ close it, I have to slide it forward. Closing the flash drive exposes the center of the drive, which that is when you can see the plastic inside, which is the tract that the slide uses. Another issue I have with the design is that when I enter the flash drive into a usb slot, I hold the flash drive in the center, (which other people may hold it differently) but by holding it in the center and when I try to enter the usb, I am holding the slide, which slides forward when I try to enter it closing the drive, which is annoying for me but doesn't kill the fact that this is still a nice drive, I just have to get use to holding it at the bottom. The flash drive is also very large for a flash drive. I would like to add it on my key ring but the drive itself is longer than all my keys and its thickness is about 3 or 4 keys thick, making it too large for my key ring. Now for the price.... the price is a bit high, which I understand that it's semi-new technology, but you get what you pay for, in this case better build quality. Overall I think this flash drive despite its cons is a good flash drive to own if you want fast data transfers and a well built device.
