Leica Power Pack MW-R8

The POWER-PACK MW-R8 is an extra power source for the MOTOR-WINDER R8. It proves to be an economic power supply when the winder is used intensively. On top of that it guarantees maximum frame frequency even at extremely low temperatures. It is equipped with permanently built-in rechargeable batteries and is very quickly and easily mounted and removed. Like the winder, it is extremely compact and fits in seamlessly with the camera's elegant design.

The Leica Fast Charger enables a POWER-PACK MW-R8 to be recharged to full capacity within 2 hours at the most, whatever the starting level. The risk of "over-"charging is completely eliminated by the automatic switching to pulse compensation charge, so a power pack may be left connected for longer periods of time. The power pack can also be deliberately discharged to avoid the "memory effect" of its rechargeable batteries.
