Leatherman Nylon Sheath for the New Wave Multi Tools

The original leather holder that came with my Leatherman did not last at all. This one is holding up great! I like the velcro as opposed the old snap one.

Although this is a Leatherman Sheath, it's still just a nylon sheath, and doesn't have the durability of the Leatherman it carries. Once you accept that, it's a decent product. It fits the Leatherman comfortably, has two side pockets to fit a Bit Extender, I also carry a 1/4 bit adapter with a 10mm socket since I use that specific size often, and both that and the Extender fit snugly on one side. It has a pocket behind the Leatherman where I carry the Leatherman Bit Kit. The side pockets are good if you sew the bottom, otherwise the Bit Extender has the potential to fall through. I'm replacing one I've had for 5 years, which worked great as long as you periodically replace the velcro (you can find inexpensive velcro strips anywhere, the adhesive doesn't always stick perfectly, the velcro tends to be stronger then the adhesive, but sewing, or even stapling it on the the sheath solves that problem). The fabric itself has never failed, just remember to replace the velcro every so often and you're good to go. I like the nylon Sheath since I work around cars, and don't have to worry about the metal button front the standard sheath scratching cars, and the velcro makes for quick access to my Wave.

Just like the original that came with the Wave Leatherman tool. The price was great and shipping was reasonable. It was shipped right away and I had it in less than a week. Don't know what more I could have asked for.
