Fits Tamron 150-600 w/Hood Perfectly!

Ok, full disclosure. I purchased this bag a long, long time ago on sale (current price). The original MSRP was something like $175, and people paid that! The intent of this bag was to be a "working bag", in which you'd carry a lens or two, along with memory cards, and other gear you'd need on a shoot. The V3 had rave reviews, the Jr was a shrunk down version. I have to admit, this idea sounded good but in practice, the bag was stiff, and a bit big and bulky considering how little you could actually get into it. I found that my regular favorite camera bag could carry my camera, a couple of lenses and a flash - and not really be that much harder to carry. I really never used this bag, and it's sat on the shelf for 2 years probably. Then I bought the Tamron 150-600. I found myself looking for cases for it and then all of a sudden I remembered this bag. I dug it out. Would the lens fit? I didn't really even remember what this thing looked like it's been so long. It fits the Tamron 150-600 with the hood reversed and even the tripod collar *perfectly* when you pull out the moveable internal dividers. The lens doesn't move, there's no room for it to move. It's like it was tailored for the Tamron. If you're looking for a bag you can take your lens into the field with, this is only $10 more than the Lowepro or the Ape Case. It has an ergonomic shoulder strap, and a waist tie. It's entirely water proof, with covered zippers and that goes for the pockets. It has media card holders – and an over-the-top holographic tab that says "media pocket" in moving text. Best of all, it's got a built in micro fiber cleaning cloth on a retractable line. You pull it out, clean your lens, and it "zips" back into its deep pocket. Details like this give me an idea as to why this was such a pricey bag when it came out. While I couldn't recommend this for something smaller – like a 70-200/2.8 lens, or a couple of medium ranged lenses, as a field bag for the Tamron it's pretty darned nice. It's too cumbersome for a "sit on the shelf" protection, I'd recommend the Lowepro, the Ape Case or even the Optech snoot boot. Check the web for reviews of this and the V3, it will give you a better idea than just the photograph! Recommended.

Boda Bag is Awesome

I bought this as a lightweight alternative to my larger photo backpack. It works perfectly with my Nikon FX lenses. It can hold my 70-200mm with the hood attached along with a 50mm in the side pocket while I have my 16-35mm on my camera body. It's got room for extra cards, cell phone, filters and spare batteries too. I love it.

Great Bag

Great for lenses, smaller dslrs, point and shoots, small tablet or anything that fits and you wish to keep clean/dry.

This is an excellent long lens bag for an excellent price. Is well made and should wear well.

Nice but company no longer exists.

I bought this bag based on the great reviews. After buying it found out they were no longer in business. They merged with another company. Upset as I wanted the waist strap with this bag, but no longer exists. I should have done more research as that may have stopped me from buying this bag.

Extremely well built piece of equipment

I purchased this bag for an upcoming event that I will be shooting, I have yet to use it on assignment. I look forward to it's actual use. I think it will work out fine.
