Only problem with this Soundbar is that it cuts in and out sometimes.

Excellent sound

I purchased this with my 1st OLED TV. I thought he curved bar was best with the curved 55".  Now I'm using it with a new 55" straight TV.  I use the optical input with great sound.

NICE SOUND BAR

Bought this along with my LG OLED 55" tv. Perfect match, great sound, but have toi turn it down a bit when the boss is sleeping in another room!

The LG Electronics LAS855M Curved Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer has horrible issues that cannot be solved and there's no help from customer service! 

First, the sub woofer is wireless only - no capability of hard wiring it - that wouldn't be a problem, except it keeps loosing the connection to the soundbar and the bass keeps cutting out. The only thing that has worked for me is to physically put the soundbar on top of the sub woofer. Within an inch to 3 inches apart from the middle of the Soundbar and directly below it.

The other issue is far worse: the Bluetooth connection cannot be password protected and is always discoverable - the Bluetooth cannot be disabled. My neighbor keeps hijacking the Bluetooth and I start getting Reggae music instead of the sound from my movie. My TV is hooked up by an optical cable and there's no Bluetooth out from my TV, so while it's on optical, anyone can see the Bluetooth and pair to it and take it over! If my neighbor pairs to it while I am using optical, it switches automatically to Bluetooth and I'll hear his Bluetooth device, whether I want to or not! I DON'T WANT TO!

I may take a screwdriver to it soon to see if I can identify the Bluetooth and disconnect it. Then see if I can hardwire the subwoofer to the soundbar.

If that fails - I'll take it to an empty lot and smash it with a baseball bat like in Office Space. Then I'll go viral with my review and video of smashing it. I am also afraid that the soundbar uses Bluetooth to connect to the subwoofer, so I may not be able to disable it unless I can hardwire the subwoofer.

Just don't buy this nightmare of a product!!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN!!!

I have had this product for about a month.  The subwoofer drops out on occasion. 
I have tried to reset and move the sub closer than 6 foot. and the later seems to have helped.  I originally had it about 10 feet and the dropouts were more frequent.
 When all is connected the unit performs great and the sound is excellent.

I purchased this LG 4.1 Channel Curved Soundbar (LAS855M that is designed for my LG OLED55C6P TV. But, there is a major design problem. The Soundbar does not fit on top of the TV stand and slide underneath the TV screen.  The Magic Remote Control sensor at the bottom of the TV screen prevents the Soundbar sliding underneath the TV screen. Even worse, the Soundbar blocks the Magic Remote Sensor and prevents operation of the TV with the Remote Control. If the TV stand would raise the TV screen by 0.5" the Soundbar would slide under the Screen and be a perfect match for this OLED55C6P TV. Somebody just did not try out this Soundbar with this TV. Such a shame for an otherwise superb TV.

Solid performance and sound quality. My apartment living room is decent in size and this easily fills the room with sound (think 30 out of 100) on the volume scale. This goes perfectly with my OLED55C6P.

This sound bar is a perfect match for my new TV.  It syncs seamlessly and the wireless subwoofer is perfect across the room from the TV and soundbar. The system sounds great, looks great, and is extremely easy to setup and use.

Perfect Match for LG Curved OLED TV

I've had this for a month so far and not disappointed. great sound no matter what your connection is

It is the worst product i have ever own, and i have own a lot over the years, as the title says, the subwoofer looses connection and i am left with a simple flat sound for seeconds. I would NEVER recomend this so called "high end" soundbar to anyone, not even people i dislike.

Sub disconnects all the time

Although this sound bar may seem expensive to some the sound and build quality is fantastic. It has many useful features.  I replaced a bose acoustamass system with this and am not disappointed.  This has 4.1 surround sound while most of the soundbars I looked at were 2.1. There isn't many curved soundbars to choose from and this is in my opinion the best one.  I have an LG curved TV and this compliments it perfectly.

Great Sound

We have had this sound bar for a few months, and we are completely enthralled by whatever we are watching because the sound coming out of this sound bar is so awesome! We also have an LG 4K TV, which has a phenomenal picture. So this makes it a great combo.
