It's a Mini size, not 3.5 MM
Wanted to use these for power extension cables for 12VDC power packs for video gear, but the connectors were the small, micro size.
Hard to find these extension cords for powering small LED light panels, and many other audio/video accessories that are not too thin, also.
Actually did not try them in use because the connectors were the wrong size for my use, but it was also disconcerting to discover the wire was so thin. Maybe the wire would handle the current, but it also raised questions about the durability of the cord, what with the expected hard use they were sure to get in the field.
I've come to realize that virtually everything I carry to a shoot is mission-critical, because if it fails, I'm sunk, unless I've got lots of spares to rely upon. I would rather have a more durable product to reduce the risk of failure, so, hence the 2 stars instead of 5.
