This cam is very easy to setup, just plug it in and you are ready to go. The picture quality is not great but it did not cost very much either. It works well with Skype. Mounting it is a challenge, it has a fixed slot about 3/16 of an inch thick that is supposed to slide over the monitors top edge. My laptop is 3/4 inch thick and desktop monitor is a full inch so I had to mount it on a door lip on the front of my pc. If you can deal with the mounting, and your image quality expectitations in low light are not to high, this may be the cam for you.

The web cam is simply the best in its class.Its worth of the money you spent.Picture quality is excellent and sound is very clear.

The tech specs don't mention that this webcam does have a built-in microphone (I don't know why it is not listed). This is a great webcam for cheap. The attachment clip is spring-loaded and expandable to fit over thick laptop lids. NOT intended for desktops.

i bought for my Desktop but i couldn't use this because of the short cable. But fits well with laptops. Image is good especially for slower connections

you pretty much get what you pay for. if you need something better, spend the extra few bux to get a higher quality camera. However, in terms of best bang for the buck if you're in a pinch for a decent web cam, this will get the job done.
