The DRUMCUBE from MXL is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a unique cube-like shape. The mic is ideal for percussion and drum applications and features a large gold sputtered 6 micron diaphragm to produce clear, natural sound. A transformerless FET balanced output provides ultra-clean recordings.

The mic has a cardioid polar pattern designed to reject off-axis sounds and reduce feedback. The mic's high SPL capability allows it to record loud sound sources at up to 132dB without distortion, while the compact size provides discrete placement on stage or in a studio. The Cube accepts standard 48V phantom power via an XLR connector. A mic stand adapter is included.
