The belt clip broke day one Within 15 minutes of taken it out of the box

Received the wrong item after long shipping time, still waiting for refund, and they did not replace it, I have to reinput another order, starting the wait time all over.  The case I had before lasted a few years and when it started to fall apart recently I wanted to stick to the same one, but service from the company made it difficult.  Not sure if I will buy again from otter

I have been an Otterbox customer since 2012 and have purchased 12 protective cases for iPhones and iPads.  The product has always been excellent and well designed for each of those cases until my most recent purchase.  While the product materials are as expected, the case design is disappointing.  When placing the iPad in the cover cradle in a nearly vertical position, it is not secure and does not engage properly and is easily tipped over.  I have to be very careful when using the iPad in this postion and sure hope that there is a design review and and improvement in the future.

Design Fault

Love this case, but had to watch a youtube video to understand how to install my phone into the box.  Picture instructions are not very clear.

Perfect needed it to save my iPhone from potential destruction! It should come with the iPhone!

Never got what I ordered you sent me cases for an Apple Watch would love to see you fix that I don't have an Apple Watch!!!

Not happy

This Otterbox replaced the one I've had for almost six years. It has protected my phone well. People look at my phone now and think it's brand new.

These cases are almost indestructible. My last one went for 8 years. Here's hoping this one has the same kind of legs.

Best protection for an iPad

While this provides excellent protection, the case does not fit tightly against the screen making it very difficult to use the touchscreen, especially around the edges.

Perfect and necessary accessory for an IPad, helps you hold the thing and protects the glass. I remove the screen protector and I can't imagine using my pad without it. Have bought several.

Excellent product

Good quality and fits well. I will say the holster for the defender series does not seem to fit as tight as previous purchases. My phone has fallen from the holster on several occasions. In the past, the phone would snap in tight in the holster whereas now it does not seem to fit as tight and does not "snap" in. Does not take much to bump it and have your phone come out of the holster.

This is an excellent phone case. It's durable and fits well in my average size hands. OtterBox is the top of the line in "protective" cases. When I need a phone case OtterBox will always be my choice.

Great "Protective" Phone Case

Adequate case to replace the MagSafe case that had disintegrated over the last few years. Hopefully this one will last until my new phone.

This is the third OtterBox case I have had for three different Iphones Love it.

Love my Otterbox

I have loved every OtterBox I have ever owned. They start to wear out just about after the warranty runs out which is about a year. I plug and unplug a lot in my vehicle so the little flappy door covers the charger begins to break, but it takes about one year till this is the best investment as opposed to paying $18 a month for insurance . When I buy a new phone, I already have the otter waiting for me at home I have dropped this phone out of a pick up truck many times on the ground and it has always held up. I don't even have a scratch cover. OtterBox is the best investment for your phone.

This Defender case comes with the screen protector. The case is outstanding!   My iPad is completely protected.  The screen is responsive and the screen protector is easy to clean.  Does it add some size and weight to the iPad.  Yes, but for the protection it affords, the difference is minimal.  Do yourself a favor and protect your iPad.  These "toys" are not cheap and while the trade-off is their portability, that comes with the price of being fragile.  The Defender Case does the job!  Well done.  My only suggestion is different color choices. My wife says it too manly and not girly enough.

I have used this particular cover for several years, and it does a good job protecting my phone, even in dusty, dirty conditions on the farm.

Case is not the same as the old style. A much more rigid feel. Also not as deep around edge and rear camera well. I'm not as confident in this case.

Can't break it

I really like the product and it has done a great job protected my son's IPad. I love the hard case and the screen protector. My problem is with the warranty service. We ordered a new case through the warranty back in November and submitted payment. The payment cleared my bank but otterbox doesn't have a record of the payment. I was able to successfully file a chargeback with my bank but I'm still without a case. I bought this product with the trust of a warranty. Don't bother trying to call the customer service number you will NEVER get through. I'm really disappointed that I will have to order a case from a different company.
