Starflash 300

I use this as a fill light for indoor sporting events in concert with a Starflash 650. Like the larger unit, the 300 is a solid unit with a heavy aluminum body covered with a rubberized coat and an internal fan. The slave sensor works flawlessly, even from relatively great distances. Although obviously not as powerful as the 650, the 300 shares the larger monolight's more powerful modeling lamp (250 watts). The 300 also recycles rather quickly—about twice as quickly as the 650.

About Photoflex SKSF300W43WR StarFlash 300 Umbrella Kit

• The StarFlash 300 strobe offers variable power up to 300 watt/second. This is a monobloc head designed for the seasoned professional and the emerging photographer.

The StarFlash uses high-quality German flash tubes. The modeling light can be set at full brightness or proportional to the flash tube light output. Recharges quickly.

Audible and visible light full-charge indicators. This strobe can be used with a reflector, umbrella, or soft box. The included Tilt Swivel Mount is secure and allows for tilt range of 170°.

The Tilt Swivel can be repositioned on the StarFlash to compensate for weight imbalance when using larger soft boxes.

Along with the Starflash 300ws strobe, this kit also includes a 6" Reflector and a 43" Silver Umbrella plus a 7'8" LiteStand (# LS-2211).
