Great tool, manual lacking.
I used the timer / shutter release to do HDR landscape shots. Worked great once I fugured out how to combine all the features. The manual is lacking but luckily the funcntions are relatively simple to figure out.

So far, so good
I've done a little testing in my home. The signal is very reliable around single corners with a distance of less than 15 feet, but once I went around a second corner the communication failed. Easy to use.

Essential for Astrophotography
I use this to collect light and dark frames with my Nikon D3100 and C6 AVX telescope. This allows me to shoot consistent exposures while I'm in the house and spend time on other things. Long range, easy to program, and works flawlessly. Highly recommended for most setups!
