Static through the mic constantly
I bought this on Amazon, having owned the older version of the product. This one comes with an extra button to pick up and disconnect Skype calls. I dont use it for that, so I didnt install the software. In all other ways it acts like my old headset - except one problem:
In Teamspeak, after I've been online a few minutes to an hour, uncontrolled static from my headset comes through. The other users on the channel hear it and complain, but I hear nothing. I can see that my mic is showing as active in TS. I have to unplug and replug in my mic to stop it. I use a powered USB hub with my mics. The older mic does not do this.
Yesterday it was terrible, every half hour loud static for my friends who now cant hear me. I'm going back to my old Plantronics.

head band too tight
I purchased this to use at work as a replacement for my HW540. I work 12 hour shifts and wanted something that fits over both ears that is noise cancelling. My head is not exceptionally large but the band simply is too small. It does not come even close to fitting. Unless you are a petite person with a small head, I don't recommend this set.

huts my ears
Audio quality is good.
However, the headset is way too tight and hurts my ears after 5 minutes.
(I have a normal head or face in terms of width,, i'm actually a small guy.)

Terribly Uncomfortable
I'm very disappointed in this product. Even though the ratings were iffy, the price was good and I've always been pleased with this brand. Unfortunately, I will be returning this as soon as I receive a new set. There is no adjustment of any kind for the fit, and this "one size fits all" construction hurts my ears and doesn't stay where it's supposed on my head.
