Looked great on their website. Unit arrived with many pits in the finish. Very sloppy glue job on rubber strips that hold mounting bracket to camera body. Not a big problem here as I thought I would ding it up myself rather quickley. But this would have never passed final inspection where I work. Once the flash is mounted, the unit has quite a bit of wobble forward and backward. I tried adjusting screws to relieve some of the wobble but making the screws tighter lockup any movement at all. Used the bracket for a 800 shot wedding and a couple of church functions. It worked well with the consistent flash wobble but I plan on looking at other types of brackets for the future.

The ProMediaGear BBS Boomerang flash bracket is perfect choice for demanding photographer wanting to eliminate subject shadows. The bracket is so small and lightweight that you hold your camera comfortably in the right hand as if no bracket was attached and operate the bracket with your left hand if you want to change flash position. The unique rotating system locks flash at 90 degree position so that flash remains upright above the lens whenever you need it. With high precision manufacturing process and use of rotation bearings this bracket is virtually maintenance free.
