Excellent after market replacement
Used in a Canon G16 camera. Provides enough power for shooting an enormous amount of photos with and without flash. The price is extremely good compared to the Canon OEM battery and it is better than all of the other after market batteries we have tried.

Comparable product, better price
Having just purchased a Canon PowerShot SX50HS, it was clear I'd need to always keep a second battery charged and ready. The Power 2000 was recommended by Adorama's online tech representative as being a good alternative to the Canon branded battery. And it's $20 cheaper. A good call by the rep. I was also impressed how that person never tried to upsell me and instead helped me make a good and thrifty choice.

very good back-up battery
I used this battery as a second, back-up battery, for my SX-40HS, during a one week cruise. I could discern no difference in performance between this unit and the original Canon battery. One should always have a second battery for a digital camera, with some situations meriting having two back-up batteries.
