Item breaks in normal use
The construction of this charger is poor. It is difficult to remove the battery after charging and it will break loose from its housing as described by another reviewer. Very poor quality.

Don't waste your money
I bought this charger to use as a backup/travel charger, to backup the Pentax charger that came with my K10D. The very first time I tried to charge a battery (luckily, I was trying it at home), it broke. The battery was extremely hard to seat properly in the charger. After charging the battery for three hours - longer than it was supposed to take, and it never did finish - I tried to remove the battery. Trying to slide the battery out required a great deal of force, and the charger broke into two pieces, connected only by two small wires; two tiny plastic pins broke off and the two pieces will no longer stay connected. If you want a backup charger, buy a second Pentax charger.
