Priolite M500 500W/s Monolight, 5600K Color Temperature, 115-230VAC Operating Voltage, 5.0 Stop Flash Variability

The Priolite M500 500W/s Monolight is a high performance flash head with powerful core features and wide system compatibility. The M500 uses a power supply with PFC (Power Factor Correction) that not only prevents power spikes during recycling but allows the flash head to recycle at 1.0 seconds to full power and fire six times per second at minimum power. That type of performance usually results in substantial heat buildup but Priolite has anticipated that by incorporating a highly efficient fan to protect the system's electronics, flash tube and modeling lamp. The M500's extruded aluminum alloy housing provides a rugged vessel for all of this technology while offering convenience features like an umbrella receptacle that runs the length of the head for extra support of shafts up to 10mm in diameter.

The M500's Triggering options include an optical slave and a built-in radio receiver with a remote range of up to 984' that requires separate purchase of a transmitter for use. Other conveniences include multi-voltage operation, Bowens S-type mount compatibility and a 5.0 stop power range.
