Effective But Sensitive Cartridges
The now well established Primera Bravo II Disc Publisher is a great DVD and CD burner and printer, and having used several for 7 years, I recommend it. The print cartridges it uses likewise does a great job. They are however very sensitive, and can easily be damaged if they are not carefully shipped and stored. Being as it is a printhead as well as an ink cartridge, the slightest pressure put upon them by ordinary handling inside a shipping envelope can cause them to malfunction by not fully printing all colors, even though cosmetically they may appear to be fine. Likewise, if they are stored sideways rather than in an upright position, the printhead will clog on the bottom-most side from too much ink flooding that component of the printhead, and clog on the top-most side of the cartridge from lack of ink drying out that component of the printhead. If these cartridges are shipped in a box with an appropriate amount of packing fill, and if they are stored in an upright position, they will do a great job of printing DVDs and CDs as you require, and will continue to print one's money's worth of ink paid for these cartridges as well.

Not many prints for the money
I love my Primera Bravo II printer but both the color and black cartridges don't yield many prints. The cartridge size may prohibit putting much ink in them. If you don't use the color or black ink cartridges on a regular basis the ink will dry on the print head and it's almost impossible to clean them using the mfg.'s cleaning procedures. You might find yourself throwing away a good cartridge full of ink if you let it clog. For the money and clogging reasons I can't give this cartridge a good rating but if I can give their printers 5 stars for ease of use and great prints.
