Reap the benefits of a monopod with the stability of a tripod using the Benro A48FD 4 Section Aluminum Monopod with 3-Leg Locking Base. Able to hold up to 44.1 lb and extend to 64.6", the A48FD is a versatile camera support thanks to its base which provides three solid points of contact with the ground. The base acts like a mini tripod and its ball joint allows you to smoothly pan and tilt your camera. If using a pan head on the monopod, the base's ball joint can be locked so that you can pan with the head independently or you can replace the base with the included rubber foot. The four leg sections are secured by flip locks and it folds down to 22" for transport.   3 Leg Folding Base Removable 3-leg locking base with ball joint for smooth and stable shots along with reverse folding legs for compact travel. Closed-Cell Foam Hand Grip A thick layer of closed-cell nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) provides a comfortable yet firm grip when carrying your Benro monopod, also includes Hand Strap for extra security. Quick Lock Legs with Anti-Rotation Leg System Monopod height can easily be set by a flip of the quick lock leg levers, which combined with anti-rotation leg sections enable fast and fumble-free set-up.

Hated it! It will not stay in the locked position at the foot. Returned and purchased the SIRUI P-424FL Monopod. Way better build quality.

Not sturdy enough

Needed a pod that could get close to a wall yet sit on a dresser, table etc.  This fits the bill!  Easy to use, stable with speed light on any surface so far.

Quality product

I purchased this monopod primarily for use with a Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera.  The monopod works great with this camera -- it is so sturdy it seems like overkill with the the tiny Ricoh camera.  The 3 leg locking base creates a stable platform for mounting the camera in a level position at up to 5 foot height.  Much more affordable than the monopod that Ricoh sells as an accessory!

This is the second Benro monopod I have bought. The first one was stollen.  It is sturdy enough and light enough that I can carry it when hiking. I mostly use it with my 55-200 mm lens.

Benro Monopod with feet

Basic, well built, sturdy, albeit not very compact monopod suitable for large telephoto lenses. Excellent value.

Hard to beat at twice the price.

I bought the S4 video head initially and just got around to getting this monopod. I'm glad that I went with the flip-lock mechanism (opposed to the twist-lock) as it's much easier to use. I carry this with me anywhere as it's light/mobile.

A great monopod with Benro S4

The monopod is remarkably light for the weight it can carry. The feet may be useful for parking the monopod, but the amount of movement they allow may be better than nothing, but cerrtainly not in a league with a tripod. But as a monopod, it is ideal because of its load bearing capacity but light weight.

Quite possibly the best accessory I"e purchased. Lightweight, easy to use, great when you can't lug a tripod along.

Very stable, light, Helps to take the weight off heavy lenses. Great for the roving photographer. Benro gets it.

Very stable, light

This is just the monopod I have been looking for.  Have had a couple others with feet that were awkward to extend and retract, not near as useful as those on the Benro.  I have used it with several lens including a 150-600mm.  I also like the large tabs to release the leg sections.  Have already recommended it to others.

does as advertised  -  very sturdy   -  not as easy to take feet on and off as implied   -   a little heavier than i thought it would be
