Multipurpose lens

I have been a Leica owner/user for many years, and have always felt that Leica primes were the only way to achieve Leica image quality.  The Vario-Elmarit  SL 24-90mm zoom, however, is every bit as sharp and contrasty as the equivalent primes and will likely have a permanent home on my SL.
