New use for i-XLR worked out perfectly. Deleted hand-held mic in favor of cable from Audio Mixer.
Needed to Zoom! church service and iPhones were picking up sanctusry echo so I looked for a way to feed audio from mixer board to the iPhone. The i-XLR box is perfect. I substituted the mixer output for the handheld mic (same connector) and use the Recorder app too. I ran the cable to the front row and brought the i-XLR headphone out back to the audio booth for management. Works perfectly. Congregation Zoomers no longer complain about spoken audio. Great to be able to use a shotgun mike with iPhone for nature recording
I am using this with a with ME67 Sennheiser Spot Shotgun microphone and K6 Sennheiser Power Supply. Instantly was able to bring in tree top birds with much greater clarity than the iPhone alone.
