Ordinary BallHead

First thing, I didn't have any other ballheads in my hands, so hard to compare. That said, I'm pretty happy about it. It's sturdy, full metal, really solid looking. The knob for horizontal motion (not that controlling the ball) seems weird to me -- the horizontal rotation is really stiff even when "max loose". But maybe it is supposed to be like that. I cannot help you in deciding if this one is the best for the given price.

It features a hydraulic ball head with Teflon lubrication rather than grease, which prevents most problems with dust or dirt interfering with the operation of the head. It has a 360deg. calibrated dial on the base for precise control during panoramic photography. With a 1.10" (28mm) ball diameter, it can support up to 13.22 lb (6 kg).
