RigWheels Kit 2 with 8 and 2 RigPlates

The RigWheels Kit 2 with 8 RigWheels and 2 RigPlates make a captive rail camera slider. The dual carriage configuration makes your camera slider much more secure by locking it onto the rails. This setup also allows you to position the carriage/rails at any angle; just the trick for vertical or slanted moves.

RigWheels camera slider kits and parts are designed for easy expansion and multifunction use. This camera slider kit allows you to operate on smooth flat surfaces (such as a countertop or glass table) as well as on pipe as shown below. RigWheels camera dolly wheels will run on any smooth rigid pipe with an outside diameter between 1-1/8" and 2".

In addition to the variety of styles of movement you can achieve with this kit, you always have the ability to increase functionality by adding different parts. For example, you can add 2 RigAxels with inline wheels to configure the RigSkate.

RigWheels are mounted to the RigPlate with common 5/16" or 8 mm bolts. As often as possible, common parts and hardware are used to modify and come up with different configurations.

This camera slider travels extremely well. With the RigWheels removed, the flat 5/16" thick RigPlates can fit in many common places like a laptop pocket. The 4 RigWheels packed into their included travel bag are about the size of a portable hard drive. Aluminum and steel pipe/tube are recommended for suspended camera slider applications like this.
