The Sabio's Storage 8TB DM4LH 4-Bay HDD RAID Enclosure with 4x 1TB Hard Disk Drives from Sabio is a high-performance storage solution designed to provide you with vast capacity, a variety of secure RAID options and fast data access. This enclosure features a built-in RAID engine that allows you to format the hard disk drives in a RAID configuration without having to install or buy a separate controller for your computer.

This engine can format the drives in a RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 5, Span, or JBOD configuration. The enclosure also supports 2TB drives if you ever want greater storage capacity. For connecting the enclosure to your computer, you can either use the built-in USB 2.0 or eSATA interfaces. Particularly fast, the eSATA interface supports read speeds of up to 237 MB/s and write speeds of up to 234 MB/s. The USB 2.0 interface supports read speeds of up to 25 MB/s and write speeds of up to 20 MB/s.
