Good head, a little light with 180mm macro. Went for a G-40KX instead. Heavy but holds tight. Dont go cheap on a tripod head.

I consider this ball head a "best buy" for the price. I own another ball head that cost well over twice as much as the Sirui and yet the Sirui handles my Fuji with a 100-400 lens as well as the pricier ball head. Before buying you should be aware that you can not easily remove the ball head plate if you want to replace it with a different type (a Manfrotto RC2 plate for instance). For me this is the only drawback this ball head.

I used the Sirui G-20KX Ball Head for a bike event and a birding outing. Loved it in both cases as it was easy to use, responsive, and felt solid with my Nikon 28-300mm lens. The Tamron 150-600mm lens was a bit shaky, but I expected that.

This ball head is strong. I use it with the following setup: Sony a7ii, Sigma MC-11, and Sigma 150-600mm C lens. The ball head doesn't budge at all. It holds its position strong. I even used it with an Induro Gimbal and it didn't budge. Like I said, it is strong.

I have this mounted on a Manfrotto tripod, I seemed to have a problem with the original ball head. Well this Sirui head, I'm very impressed with it, especially the dual locks for pan and tilt. Seems very well built for the money. I would recommend it to everyone

I honestly have not much time to use this ballhead, but at first glance and close inspection, it looks like a real winner. I purchased this to go with my new Siuri monopod, and after a very close inspection, it looks every bit as well made as my much more expensive and excellent Markins Emil unit. It works perfectly with my Arca Swiss compatible RRS L brackets and tele lens mount plates. It has all the bells a whistles as a unit costing 4-5 times as much, and seems built like a well machined tank.
