Great underwater camera. New to underwater photography but the pictures so far have come out great. Housing is great and simple to operate underwater.

Used my Bigblue for some of the lighting. Priced perfect and the pictures speak for them selves.

Awesome, different from my last 500 so major improvement. Love that it’s also waterproof so snorkeling during SI is great!

Great new underwater and land camera, the internal camera is light, powerful, and very takes very sharp auto focus pics. The only slightly negative issue is the complicated menu driven software that is not consistent from one operation to the next. Oh if Apple had helped in the design. It could be intuitive, but sadly is not.

Rented the Micro 2.0 and wanted the features of the big brother so I got this. Easy to use, great pictures, glad I bought it. 3 flaws. 1) Lanyard ring on the case doesn't fit anything but the lens cap. Only the internal camera works with the lanyards, so what's the point? 2) A $700 camera doesn't come with a charger. Really? You have to plug the sync USB in to charge it. 3) The large air gap between the inner camera screen and housing glass means you have to be directly behind the housing to see what you're filming, and if there is any glare you can't see anything. Other than that, great camera.

Bought this for my son and with a few pictures, the detail is fantastic. With this high definition video and pictures, it would be recommended to take a class on photography so all the great features can be used to their full capacity. This is almost like having my professional Pintax under water. From what Ive seen so far, I'm impressed and do not regret the price tag. It is worth the value.

Haven'tI upgraded from the DC1200. What a difference. This camera is AWSOME. Underwater pictures are remarkable. I just got it before 4 dives in south Florida. My rig uses the Sea Dragon SL963 flash, Sea Dragon 2000 LED Video light, and I also upgraded to the SL963 Fisheye lens. This combo is easy to use, easy to carry with a good underwater strap, and pretty light weight. So much to learn with the new Camera yet, but my first sets of pictures are VERY detailed. You now have many more options for "capture" than before. Redesigned waterproof case allows full control of all functions underwater. Zoom works very well also. Several storage formats, including raw. Camera itself is waterproof to 60 feet, but housing protects it and gives you a second waterproof seal. All functions worked very well with 3mil gloves. There are bigger and better cameras out there, but the new 2000 will match the quality of the pictures. Still learning about the video functions. Haven't figured out auto focus yet. The videos that did work are amazing. The colors and movements of the fish were enhanced by the video light. Crystal clear videos. Saved pictures to Surface Pro. When you zoom in, the quality and clarity stay, because of the 20mp. Land picture quality also outstanding. many new smart programs that allow you to take awesome sunset pictures for example. This is a great up grade from the DC1200. which until now, was the best quality you could get.

This is the 2nd of this model I've bought for our company. Used mostly for video, it is great for static scenes where you don't need to move the camera around. The pan & tilt motions can be a little sticky. But, once the camera is moving, the motion is fairly smooth. It is light enough that if I need to follow my subject, I often extend just one leg and use it like a monopod. The finish of this one is more of a matte finish than the 1st one we bought. That causes a little more drag when adjusting the support up and down the center post and when extending the legs. With a little use and wear, perhaps that will get smoother. If you want to use multiple cameras with this tripod, buying an extra quick-attach baseplate for each camera eliminates the hassle of removing the plate from one to put on another. For the price, this is a great general-use tripod. If you are shooting video and and need professional-looking results, you would be better off spending more for a tripod with a really nice fluid head for smoother camera motion.
