About Sonnet FUSR4QR58TB 8TB Fusion R400QR5 Rackmount HDD
The 8TB Fusion R400QR5 Rackmount Storage System Hard Drive Array from Sonnet is an external RAID storage system for Windows, Mac and Linux computers. The array features 4 hot-swappable drives which can be configured as a RAID 5 or RAID 0 array. When configured as RAID 5, the array can read data at up to 225MB/sec and write data at up to 177MB/sec.
The array connects via eSATA, USB 2.0, FireWire-800, or FireWire-400. It is housed in a rackmount form factor for professional installation. Four low-noise fans provide low-noise cooling. The Fusion R400QR5 is certified for use with industry-standard NLE software, including Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. It has been approved for use with video capture cards by AJA, Blackmagic Design, Matrox and Bluefish444.
