The Sony HDR-PJ430V 32GB HD Handycam Camcorder with Built-in Projector features an 8.8MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and a 30x Sony G zoom lens. The PJ430V is capable of capturing Full HD 1080/60p and 24p video as well as 8.9MP still images. Balanced SteadyShot with Active Mode moves the entire optical block independently from the rest of the camera body for superior image stabilization. The camera's 32GB of embedded flash memory can record and store up to 11 hours and 40 minutes of HD footage. Users can enjoy their favorite memories virtually anywhere with the high-contrast projector built-in to the LCD panel and the HDMI multi-terminal provides a connection for compatible, external devices.

Users can monitor and playback footage via a 3" Clear Photo Plus LCD display with 230K dot resolution and touch screen capability. Sony's Multi-Interface shoe is designed to provide a common interface across all of Sony's Digital Imaging products. The shoe allows users to attach a wide array of accessories including video lights, microphones or a Wi-Fi module (optional accessories sold separately). The Wi-Fi module can enable wireless control, transfer and data backup.

Intelligent Auto mode analyzes your shot and automatically selects the appropriate settings from ten distinct scene modes, with 180 different possible combinations. Users can choose to record in one of two video formats, either high quality AVCHD or web optimized MP4. Finally, a built-in USB cable provides a connection to your computer for charging or file transfer.
