It's about flexibility
Both my wife and I have Sony E-Readers and we use them a lot. Consequently it helps to have at least two charging units about the house. This convenience adds value to the E-Reader.

it dont fit my e-reader
I ordered this product because I was tried of needing to run my laptop in order to charge my e-reader. Well guess what? The PRSA-AC-10
does not fit my PRS-600. What to do??????
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

works just fine
I have this for my new WIFI reader and it charges just fine. It does say that the product is for the newest WIFI model so OF COURSE I did not use it for my older model reader. People do need to read the description to know it would not work on an older model. That problem would be their fault and not Sony's. It works just great.

Wall adapter wrecked my e-reader
plugged in my PRS505 ereader for recharging and it fried my e-reader. Was under impression that all Sony e-readers could use this adapter instead of recharging on the computer. Guess I should have stayed with recharging on my computer.
