Sony Speaker Dock for Lightning iPod and iPhone, Auxiliary Audio Input

I purchased this for my son and choose Sony as it was a brand I considered to be a reliable one - albeit more expensive. Product features are great. Remote control was a good addition although never used by my 11 year old as he was always located within touching distance. The product is now being returned to my online supplier as it has now stopped working after 7 months. It was only ever used on mains power but now, unless the swivel connector is rotated forwards it will not charge. This means he cannot use his iPod Touch and look at the screen to use it whilst charging. Such a shame that the retailer can no longer provide a replacement so have been required to buy an inferior brand and wait for my refund. Attempted to request Sony to give advice/repair/replace but website keeps referring me to online guides etc.

I have tried a few different iphone dock stereos but for the price this can't be beaten! Good sound quality, great features. Only thing is my kids keep losing the remote and it's so small I have trouble finding it :(

Both my daughters had theses speakers for their bedrooms unfortunately 1 stopped working after a few years so we didn't hesitate to replace with the upgraded version (this time registering the guarantee). Sound is brilliant quality (even when played too loud). Speakers are compact but perfect size for what we want them for - would recommend this product to any age range as they are so easy to use

I use it all the time with my iPad mini and iPad. Great sound quality and a useful charger as well. Just be careful when connecting as the mount is quite delicate.

I was pleased to make this purchase even in the knowledge that it lacked two important items. The sound quality is very good and overall I am pleased HOWEVER I would point out the two issues lacking for which, had they been there, would have received 5 stars. 1) a short (250mm) jack-jack lead to enable the use with other music players - I had to purchase one. 2) an additional 30 pin connector for Apple iPod or iPhone 4 (or previous) to allow immediate connection. Other than this - a good product.

Great little speaker dock. Simple to use and with excellent sound quality - not some cheap tinny sounding thing - even when disconnected from mains and operating via batteries the sound is rich and deep and you can turn it up as loud as you like with no distortation

Had an iphone & this Dock as a Birthday present, I'm 63yrs old & quite new to all this! Should have had one years ago, amazing quality, so light & portable with fabulous volume. Just download your fave music and away you go. I'm more than pleased!

Bought this a month ago for my husband to dock his ipod. He absolutely loves it. It's easy to move around; unobtrusive on the kitchen bench and the sound quality and volume are excellent. First one i ordered had a dint in the side which must have happened in the factory as the box wasn't damaged. No problems getting it changed and the delivery time was less than 48 hours. Very pleased.

I needed a product that allowed me to enjoy the vast collection of "oldies" that are loaded to my Iphone. Now I have it with this neat and powerful portable speaker dock. The tone is brilliant, the volume levels are more than adequate and I can now listen to my favorite music just by plugging in the speaker dock where ever I need it. Mainly it lives in the kitchen where I have to spend a considerable amount of time every day and now it has become my favorite room! A brilliant product.

i bought this specifically before purchasing my Iphone 5s as I realised that most speaker units needed an adaptor to take the 5s. Once I started using this speaker system, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound (especially compared to my old speaker), it has a handy little remote, overall I am absolutely delighted with it, Thank you to Sony!

The portable speaker is fantastic value for money, you can plug it in or use batteries to move around rooms. A nice looking piece of equipment which has a great sound for such a small speaker, it holds it sound quality on full volume and charges the ipod at the same time which is great. An all round clever, must have dock for music lovers.
