Got this for my birthday and love it, so easy to connect and considering its size it's fairly loud. Perfect to use while I'm outside working on my car

Great sounding speaker with just the right amount of bass. Positioning of this speaker can effect the sound, eg thick wooden surfaces, corners and the listening distance. So experiment with different positions. I've found on thick wood with something behind the speaker and a listening distance of about eight feet the speaker sounds as good as a hifi system. The speaker is finished off well and is quite weighty. The carry case is very handy.

This product has been the most useful and fun bit of tech I've bought, apart from my smart phone. I love my music and this speaker allows me to listen to it wherever I please. Battery life is fantastic, I spend a lot of time socialising outdoors and now I always have a soundtrack to accompany what ever I'm doing for hours upon end. I'll definitely buy another sony bluetooth speaker when I next upgrade.

The things I like most: Its a portable battery for my other devices, it packs a punch for the size of speaker, it looks awesome, NFC Technology, easy Bluetooth connections, LED status bar is very cool and useful Things I don't really like: Quite heavy so its not 'pocket' friendly, could do with being a little louder tbh. If you're after a room filling great quality speaker that looks fantastic and will also double up as a portable battery pack, you can't go far wrong with this. If you're after being the loudest thing on the block maybe better to look elsewhere. I love mine! Sleek, Sexy and hugely useful!

I bought this to bring wireless radio etc to my new kitchen it is solid and stands up well to any knocks it may get and the sound is great for speech and music.

Bought the SRS-BTX300 last month. The design is great and very easy to use. The only issue i have is the sound, Fine on very low volume with a nice crisp sounds , though once mid volume is called for the sound starts to get muffled, treble is ok but bass seems go flat , forget loud music not good at all.Maybe i got a duffer for the money i would look else where.

Looks good, sounds good and after a misunderstanding, it was easy to set up. I have taken it on holiday once and it was great, except it is a bit heavy. Used it around the house and garden and it is fantastic.

I've had this item for a few months now and it really is very good. The sounds is fantastic and the battery life is awesome! I even used this as background music for a party of about 50 people in a large room and it coped very well. It is great to have the option to charge your phone from the USB socket at the back while using it to play music.

I have had other speakers but the budget range never again when I bought this I had a few bad buy's so I thought as you do you pay's your money etc well this time I did and boy was I impressed Loud and Great sound works with all my kit My bluetooth mobile phone and my NFC Phone The sound is nice and clear Add more bass if needed loud enough for my Sitting room it has a rechargeable battery so it is portable but it is heavy so not easy to carry if I had to pick a fault no remote it would be nice if you get a phone call to turn it down with a remote rather than have to get up and walk across the room for me that is the only fault I can find.

I bought this speaker in the January sales. It gives out very good quality sound and is very simple to marry up to my bluetooth devices. It feels very sturdy and looks well made.On the whole I am very impressed.

The speaker was a birthday gift from my parents and I think its brilliant. The sound is fantastic with plenty of base and volume. Love the Bluetooth feature and that it has a rechargeable battery which makes it really portable.

The SRS-BTX300 has elegant looks and is pleasing to the eye. The sound quality is fine for my requirements but I would imagine a more discerning buyer would expect more from the Sony name, for example in party mode more power for the volume without distorting the speaker output would be an improvement.

I already have a SRS-BTX500 however this stays at home the SRS-BTX300 is more portable and has a long battery life usually over 7 hours. Although the output is 20 as opposed to 40 watts it is loud enough and sounds great at all volumes

Bought this a month or so ago, its been all around the house, to the park and it really is very good. Loud, very nice design and good sound quality. You can't go wrong. It is a little on the heavy side for a portable speaker but it still doesn't stop me taking it everywhere!
