Once again, Sony engineers have made a giant leap backward in technology. I use my Sony Cyber-shot camera strictly for taking pictures. To download images, all I need is a 3-4 inch cord to plug into my laptop. Instead, all that Sony offers is an audio-visual monstrosity that takes up as much space (and weighs about as much) as the camera itself. On the plus side, the massive metal-filled weights at each end of this 'AV-anaconda' make great boat anchors.
