The Sea & Sea DX-860G is a kit that includes the Sea & Sea housing rated to a depth of 150' (45 m). Combined with the Sea & Sea DX-860G camera. The fine 1/2.5" CCD chip with effective image quality of 6.2 mega-pixels could be interpolated up to 8 mega-pixels, producing files for large detailed prints. The camera is equipped with a large, bright 2.5" LCD monitor. This makes composition, replay, and adjustment easy on the eyes. On land you can even listen to your favorite music on the cameras speaker. The 35-105mm optical 3x zoom provides focal lengths appropriate for a range of subjects and distances. For a wider view that is better for underwater a wide conversation lens that attaches to the housing is an optional accessory. Of course the camera is also ideal for snorkeling, surfing, skiing, fishing, sailing, or even certain industrial situations.

The kit includes one Sea & Sea YS-27 flash that was designed specifically for digital cameras. It synchronizes with a unique fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. Lightweight and compact this is the prefect strobe for the Sea & Sea DX-860G camera system. This full featured strobe offers exposure control with a 9 step manual control. All you need to do is set your aperture to match the number on the control. If your images are a little too light or dark just dial the power up or down. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the cameras built in flash, to the strobes built in slave. The Sea & Sea Arm Light with built in tray is also included. The sea arm is constructed of fiber glass with fortified nylon. This makes it rigid to keep the strobe in the right position. It is also very light and compact. The arm has a rubber grip that provides a comfortable handhold. The arm is made up of two 5.1" sections.
