A compact underwater digital camera system, the DX-1G housing and 1G camera features 10.01 effective megapixels from a high quality CCD sensor and a 24-72mm wide-angle-to-telephoto zoom lens for incredible versatility.
Building on the incredible success of the DX-5000G and DX- 8000G, Sea & Sea set out to engineer and manufacture a more technologically advanced, yet user-friendly, underwater system that is ideal for any type of photographer novice to professional. The DX-1G is the result - offering SLR functionality, performance and features without the bulk, hassle and weight of an SLR system.
This Package includes the YS-27DX External Strobe with Sea Arm Light, Fiber Optic Cabel L-Type, Wide Angle Lens, Lens Caddy and Pelican 1500 case with Pre-Cut Foam.
The YS-27DX lightweight and compact flash is designed specifically for digital cameras, prefect for the Sea & Sea DX-1G camera system. It offers a flood-free connection and synchronizes with the included fiber-optic cord which transmits light from the camera's built-in flash to the strobe's built-in slave.
Th YS-27DX is a full-featured strobe that provides exposure regulation with a nine-step manual control. Simply set your aperture to match the number on the control. For lighter or darker fine tuning simply dial the power up or down.
The very light and compact yet rigid Sea & Sea Sea Arm Light with built-in tray is constructed of fiberglass with fortified nylon, to keep the strobe in the correct position. It consists of two 1" sections, with a rubber grip providing you with a very comfortable hold.
The Wide Angle Conversion Lens offers super wide-angle images of 16mm (35mm equivalent) with an 85° angle of view underwater and 106.5° on land, allowing you to get closer to large subjects. The closer you are to your subject, the less water between your lens and subject, thus increasing contrast and color saturation. Add or remove the lens underwater and use the lens caddy to store the lens when it's not being used.

- Three exposure modes and 2 custom modes available for heightened control over image creativity: A (Aperture Mode), P (Program Mode), M (Manual Exposure Mode) and 2 Custom modes (MY1 and MY2).
- Sea & Sea mode for optimal spot on underwater exposures and an additional 5 presetand 2 customizable white balance controls.
- Manual focus capability for additional control in critical low-light or intense macro conditions.
- RAW shooting mode for highest quality files and image processing in Adobe Photoshop or other available software. Compatible with SDHC memory cards up to 4GB.
