No osX Magician Software

Great product, but no compatible software for the MAC operating system. Big hole for all the MAC users out there that would like a simple way to monitor the SSD and update the firmware. Migration and Magician software only work on Windows operating systems.

Do not listen to the people that have problems with this ssd it is very good and works flawlessly for the people having problems it's most likely user error and people that don't know much about the computer world windows 8 is a good op but is far from perfect and has a lot of issues with compatibility with other devices and as far as a partition disappearing I'm sorry I've never had this happen and I do this alot so I'm sorry to say that's user error my friends

killed by firmware update

Got to use this new drive for a month, then upgraded the firmware through the included Magician software and the drive would no longer boot. Windows wont recognize the drive, so I cant reinstall the OS or even format it to get my files off. If I would've known I was paying full price for 10 years of some other user's refurbished drives, I wouldn't have bought.

Seems very good so far

Much faster than the Hitachi 500 GB hard drive that came with my Asus X202e Vivobook. Boots up Ubuntu 16.04 in less than 30 seconds. I bought the Samsung SSD after finding mostly positive reviews on it.

Great SSD

I bought this as a upgrade to a failing other manufactuer ssd that started to fail. This worked out great. The drive is fast and very reliable. The operating system and files was a easy smooth transfer with the included software. Would recommend this to anyone that asked.

LIKED IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE

I originally bought one of these a little over a year ago to update my old system. When I decided to build a my system from scratch this week, I bought another one for my cutting edge system. I have had no trouble at all with the drive and have noticed considerable speed increases in programs , especially on startup. This SSD is the C: drive on both my systems.
