Another STM winner
I have an iPad 2 with an STM Slim case that works very well and upgrated to the "New Ipad" (aka iPad 3) and wanted a new case for it. The tangerine color is bright and easier to keep clean than the Slim case (which is fabric).
The "Smart" cover for the Grip (and also the STM Slim) works as well as the official Apple Magic Cover I had for my very first iPad 1.
I also love the different 2 stand options for this new case over the Slim Case.
The STM cases hold and protect the iPads very well unlike Apple's Magic cover that is held on only by magnets and the let the iPad can slip out of it and your hands very easily onto the ground. RIP Ipad 1.
The only tiny drawback perhaps is that the corner protectors on the Grip is their not as huge as on the Slim case. You would't notice it unless you have the Grip and the Slim side by side.
BTW, even though it says it's for the Ipad 3 only, it also fits, in my opinion, my iPad 2 as well.
I had to wait a few weeks for this color to ship (maybe it's popular) but I'm 100% happy with it and Adorama's excellent service.
