Smith-Victor Smith Victor PL10, Photoflood Light with 10" Reflector, Lamp Sold Separately.

BEWARE: It is hard to find light bulbs that will fit the Smith Victor PL8 8-inch, or the PL10 10-inch reflectors. The EIKO brand ECT and ECA bulbs *WILL NOT* fit these reflectors because the bulbs are about 1-inch too short. They cannot be screwed into the reflectors. The screw base of the bulbs will not even reach the bulb socket of the reflectors. I have a few old Sylvania bulbs that are long enough to fit these reflectors, but Sylvania ECT and ECA bulbs are really hard to find. The Sylvania bulbs measure about 6-1/4" long. The EIKO brand bulbs only measure about 5-1/2" long. Other than that, the Smith Victor PL8 and PL10 reflectors I ordered look real nice, and appear to be well built and sturdy. I ended up returning the reflectors, and purchased some cheaper Smith Victor reflectors that WILL WORK with shorter ECT and ECA bulbs. I gave the reflectors 5-stars because they appear to be good quality... I'm not faulting the reflectors... But they WILL NOT WORK if you CANNOT FIND bulbs that are long enough to screw into the reflectors!!
