Good build for the budget
if you're looking for a sturdy tripod on a tight budget this one is a very good choice

Extremely sturdy tripod for camcorder
Tripod is rugged and well-made. Would recommend it because it also has some weight to it, which will help steady the camera.

Me likey, but with one major and one minor gripe.
You get a lot of bang for your buck here. It's sturdy, easily adjusted, and can carry a lot of weight. The minor gripe, it's heavy, and hard to strap to a backpack, which leads me to my major gripe, no carry handle. To get around this, I bungee loop the lower legs, and loop another at the top of the leg. I have an old should bag strap that I use to lash it all together. Not a perfect solution, but it works.

this pod is almost all metal and more than sturdy enough to use as as a studio pod,it is still lite enough to field carry.i installed a JTL-6224 ball head.(which is a good value quailty head),so for less than $100.00 i have a tripod that makes a lot of pods costing over $200.00 to $300.00 look shabby.
