I purchased the Isobar 4-Outlet Surge Protector for my new pellet stove. This Pellet Stove was an expensive purchase and since it is computerized, I wanted to protect it the best way possible that is why I chose this product. Product was the sturdiest and most recommended device that I could find.

Power went out at noonish in Findlay, Illinois. About two hours later power was restored. We found that a circuit breaker had disconnected power to our Router and Modem which were serviced with an Isobar, Tripp-Lite 4 outlet surge protector. We found the suppressor was Fried but the equipment plugged into it was undamaged. With talking to our Rural power supplier they stated that a high voltage fuse had blown at our substation and that caused a huge swing of power, up and down. We are glad our Isobar surge suppressor was standing guard. Thank You.

I bought one of these 20 years ago and I used it everyday for arcade repair and it was a true work horse. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great product. Case is all metal and two isolated banks of suppression. I'm currently using it for my computers and sensitive electronics. I still unplug during thunder storms with lightning, but feel protected from all the spikes and trash on the power lines from every day life. Thanks for a great product.

I have bought two Tripp-Lite Surge Protectors. One is used to protect my digital piano and the other is used to protect my desktop computer and associated equipment. My computer seems sensitive to power fluctuations so I will see if the surge protector helps. I was most impressed with the guarantee that comes with the surge protector, especially for the digital piano which was a costly item.

The product led lights worked and showed the product was protecting my devices however there was no power to the outlets. The breaker switch also appeared to be working but again no power was detected at the outlets. I had to return the product.

I am using this to protect computers and amateur radio equipment. This surge protector has better specs than other units I have seen e.g. the let through voltage is 330v. Many units that I have had have a let through of 400v or more or they don't even specify it. I think this is important because my laptop charger can only handle about a 300v surge.

Bought after it was recommended by the internet. Its by no means sleek b JJ t makes up for it by its sheer sturdyness. It has a heft and weight to it. Working perfectly so far. Plus points for providing plug inserts for added safety for those who will not be using all the outlets.

Its broken. Worked for awhile and now it will not turn on. I contacted them for a warranty claim. No response. This is one of these companies that is too big for its own good. No customer service. I deal with them on a consumer level and from an industrial contracting level. Same experience either way.

Despite living right outside "the swamp" electricity is very prone to spike and many weather shut downs, according to what I read this highly recommended surge protector is a must. I/we shall see. It is used to protect any number of electrical appliances that have senstive electronic control panels. Examples such as air purifiers, audio and video equipment, medical devices, etc. Some of these have been in service for over as decade in a semi-rural environment prone to lightning and utility surges. None of this equipment has been disabled by electrical surges thus far. I needed a good surge protector to protect my treadmill. I researched and ultimately settled on the Tipp-Lite due to its high voltage surge protection and low pass-through voltage. I have not been disappointed with this purchase.

I Recently purchased this product, havent had any lightning hit my house yet, but if i did and the isobar failed to do its job for whatever reason and my PC is damaged atleast it would be covered by the lifetime insurance! :). There was a very windy day where the power was turning off and on quite rapidly, im no electrician, im not sure if that could have damaged my pc but it did not. I like the build quality and i appreciate the outlet plugs.
