I am building a home office and it has a very large executive desk and a work table and a couple Computers. When working with electronic equipment that is sensitive to power fluctuations, it is very important to hook up to a UPS to insure that your equipment isn't damaged from the "dirty Power" that is sent to your home or office. Dirty power comes from static build up, switching problems from power plants and power switching yards and bad transformers on power poles as well as accidents. I chose TrippLite again because I have used them for years in my home with my Ham Radio station and my entertainment system in the house. I have gone through many lightning storms and power glitches here but because the equipment is plugged into TrippLite UPS'S I have never lost any equipment in my house. This new project of building my office is now equipped with a new TrippLite Omni LCD UPS. I love the ability to mount it vertically or horizontally. I like the LCD display so I can just glance at it checking for a constant voltage and the battery condition indicator which makes me feel good, knowing its ready to go to work if something was to happen to the incoming power. A piece of mind if you will! I highly recommend it.

I needed this to protect my Arzel HVAC control system from defaulting upon power interruptions. I purchased this UPS for satisfy this need. The UPS unit was removed from the box, plugged in and was tested simulating a power failure. Worked perfect!!

I have used Tripplite products for years without issues. This unit has Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) that is a critical function in areas prone to high lightning strikes. Well constructed with switchable horizontal and vertical orientation LCD panel. VERY highly recommended.

I purchased two omni650lcd battery backups. One I use with my Rotel amp & preamp because the power drops out frequently. The other I use with my audio recording equipment, my DAW, audio interface for my voice over work. Having the power drop out in the middle of recording causes no end of heartache. The trip light Omni 650 LCD prevents drop outs and allows me to record uninterrupted.

This is a great little battery backup and surge protector! Our business gets power outages fairly frequently and we have a few of these on our critical computers and some lab equipment. They have been great at giving us that little bit of extra time to get things backed-up and saved when the power goes out. The last one I ordered did not pass power through the battery backup side of the unit. I put in a claim through Tripp Lite and I had a replacement unit within a week or so. Very nice customer service. Will definitely be purchasing more of these through Tripp Lite.

The product works great to provide balanced power and battery backup for my computer, screen and printer. The tower and flat position is great as well as the information screen. It would be nice if the on/off button were lit up and easier to push and hold. Maybe when I need to order a new one it will be available.

The power functions seem to work as advertised, however the unit has a very audible buzz when standing vertically. This is inconvenient in my setup. My computer also could not connect with the unit over the usb connection. It is doing its job but overall I'm disappointed.

I bought an OmniSmart 900LCD a few months ago for my church, and was quite pleased with its performance. So, when one of my home UPS units went south a few weeks ago, I bought an OmniSmart 650LCD. I didn't need the wattage the church unit provided for my home computer setup, and the 650 is more than adequate. More importantly, our area is subject to power blinks and temporary (a few seconds or so) outages, and the 650LCD has continued to provide power to my laptop through several of these episodes.

Used in horizontal position. Compact design, LCD screen easy to read, multiple plug-ins are easily managed and out of sight. Get a lot of thunderstorms in our area and the unit performs well.

The 650LCD has worked perfectly for years now and is a well built, solid product. It's screen is easy to view, the outlets are well placed, it has functioned as advertised in two power outages. I recommend this product and have had good experiences with other Tripp-lite products. This company does a good job.

I purchased this item for use in my office. Our generator does not support most of the office wings so I thought this would not only protect my computer items from surges but would also keep them from losing work I was doing. It has worked perfectly. Its is also not very big so it does not take up a lot of area.

I work in a very rural area that is prone to power outages due to freezing fog and ice storms. The Omni LCD 650VA Tower Line-Interactive 120V UPS has shown to be a lifesaver for my computer and related accessories such as monitor etc. Before we got the backup generator, the Omni 650VA gave me the ability to close out of the documents and save without loosing and data! This ups works very well with my computers and I also stand this one up to save space. Also I can see the LCD display very well. I have only used Tripp Lite for all my computer needs over the past 15 years , and they have a good market pricing ..

I purchased the first unit for use with a MAC mini in my spouses home system. We had a major lighting strike and surge. It protected the computer, printer, audio equipment and backup drive. It worked so well I purchased another unit for my MAC mini. We have been without power several times since installing both power supply's. Both have worked perfectly. The display is a great feature. I have replaced the battery in one unit due to its age. Battery replacement is very easy. Definitely worth adding to a computer station.

I had this UPS for over 8 years now and it's still working like it did on day one. It has saved my system from a few unexpected shutdowns. The original battery lasted over six years. The only drawback is there was no warning or indicator when the battery finally failed. The UPS simply stopped working. A quick call to Tripp Lite's tech support line solved the mystery. An original replacement battery installed quickly and the UPS is as good as new!

Highly recommend this product to protect expensive LCD TVs during power surges and spikes. It is easy to install and really like the LCD Status Screen on the front that indicates a variety of UPS operated conditions.

I am very satisified with this product. It is slimmer and better designed then the other competitor products. The LCD is very user friendly, you can customize the sound, light, voltage, battery etc. Works great and east to set up.

I have had this UPS for a couple months now and it has worked great to keep my computer going during a power outage. I have had two outages in the past week due to storms and the only think that turned off was my monitor. A must have for sure.

We have battery backup-surge protectors on all our workstation in our office. The Omni650 gives us just what we need. It also works just as advertised. Refreshing to know that there is a company that you can still count on for product quality. We use Tripp Lite for ALL our backup and surge protection for all 5 of our companies.
