With a range of over 6 miles, a top speed of 15 miles an hour, and a carrying weight of less than 20 pounds, this electric scooter will get you from A to B with minimum fuss. It features an integrated headlight for safety and visibility, as well as a hand-throttle and standard braking system.  Electric Power  The scooter's battery charges in approximately two hours, and can run up to 9 miles on a single charge (flat ground, within weight limits). The battery's LED indicators will blink red when power is below 10%, and when all lights are blue, you'll know the unit is fully charged. The manufacturer recommends against using the scooter when the LEDs indicate 10% or less battery charge, and also recommends against powering the scooter on while it's plugged in to charge the battery. Control & Safety  The braking system includes one electronic handbrake on the handlebars, which activates a clutch in the motor to slow the scooter, as well as a manual footbrake above the rear wheel, such as you might find on a standard non-powered scooter. Two throttles, also located on the handlebars, control speed up to 15 miles an hour.  The scooter is also equipped with standard safety features like a super-bright LED headlamp, as well as rear and side reflectors. The front tire is oversized to handle small bumps, and the battery is protected from overcharging and overheating by automatic shut-offs.   With a two-piece reinforced folding design, compact size, and carrying handle, the scooter is a great choice for urban commuters, college students, and those wishing to cruise around their neighborhood. Recommended for ages 14+.
