I looked at a lot of different home theater systems and found this one to be the best.  I am very pleased with it    The sound is fantastic and it's great I've been able to spread the speakers around my living room. So far I have my LG smart tv hooked up to it as well as a turntable.  The hooked up was very easy. I would highly recommend this product

It works well, no problems yet, so that's obviously a great thing. Recently have seen similar, well known name brand products being sold for half the price; and Bluetooth, as opposed to the wired connection of this product.

Good system for the price.  There are a few little things that I had issues with.  One problem is the wire that comes with it.  They have it pre-cut in specific lengths, just a roll would have been better.  The speakers are not that great, but exactly what the price dictates.  All in all a good product.

Great mid range low budget sorround system (got it in discount for 320 usd).
There is a huge difference between listening rirectly to the TV or soundbar. However, there is a abism between this home theater and the 1K range.

Pros: Awesome for entry level and small / regular rooms
Cons: Subwooffer could move more air

Please note that you are essentially buying a 5.1. receiver.
The 'speakers' that come with it are not good at all: all of the speakers are incredibly small/tiny (think the size/sound of a built-in/internal speaker/beeper in a PC case). All 5 speakers fit inside a shoe box.
You would have to replace all of them (no need to even try wiring them, they sound weak and you will not like it).
After replacing with bigger speakers (10 inch center and 8 inch front and surround) you will be able to hear the dialog and other sounds loud and clear (make sure to 'boost' output (+10/+12db) on every channel in the settings to give enough power to drive bigger speakers).

Essentially you are buying a 5.1 receiver (forget speakers)

The system sounds great! Coming from basically a shelf system with random speakers hooked up...this is a vast improvement! I haven’t updated the wires which some say will make a noticeable improvement. I’ll wait until I’m used to this sound before making that change. For the price...a receiver AND speakers!? Heck yeah! Love it!

Very good for the price.  It works seamlessly with all my devices and the overall sound quality is good.  Next year, I may upgrade some of the speakers, but as is, the sound quality is on par with any other home-theater-in-a-box.  The advantage, of course, being the ability to upgrade the speakers over time.

I don’t have any Atmos speakers and haven’t been able to test out that feature.  Also, the item comes with the latest firmware installed, and I don’t know what changes have been made since the last version (the last version is available on the website, which hasn’t been updated to reflect the most recent firmware).  I’m hoping the latest firmware allows the device to output Atmos 5.1.2, rather than restricted to 3.1.2, which is advertised on the box

Fantastic for daily use

Easy peasy setup and fantastic sound. Great price, sale amount was $220, so that is what I'll base this on. I already have an Onkyo receiver with HK speakers in another room. This Onkyo delivers just as well with a clean and clear UI and fast setup. The speakers are also very good and the bass delivers the boom you need it to for the size of room I have (about 15'sq). I would recommend this system and am not scared about it breaking as I already have been using the other Onkyo for years now without problems (tn757 or something like that).
