The light itself seems fine. But the USB-C socket only charged with the A-to-C cable that came with it. My MBP charging cable didn?t work, or 2 others I tried. So I returned it?

Good light but?

A great portable key light for video and photos. Easily attach to top of camera. Definitely need to defuse the light because it can be very very bright.

The Aputure Amaran AL-MX Bi-Color LED Mini Light is such a powerful tool! The battery life sustains an entire day of shooting and it's compact size can easily fit into an tight space. It's built very well, really heavy duty and will not break apart, I've dropped it several times already within the last week...Placed my order on Adorama and it shipped to me within two days. It's a great purchase and a great product.

Light for my camera and action!

I love to play around with photography and videography. I have been trying to get into shooting and editing videos but the space I use has horrible light. I didn't have the money to buy a 120d or any high quality lighting. That is until this came on to the market. IT IS PERFECT. The output is amazing and color is spot on. As a person doing simple talking head videos you can't ask for much more. One thing to note is the quality is the best I have seen. This thing is a tank. I plan to pick up another one in a few weeks.

Good light. Its bright and very useful to stick in tight quarters. I like using it inside under counters to give a little pop of light. It's heavier than the M9 though so it's a bit harder for tape to stick  if you're taping it

My Best choice this year!

The light it is tiny but it is great.  Again this is not a light for illuminating a complete scene (it can be done if that it is the situation) but for the dose it it’s powerful! One thing I would like to get improved it is the battery life, is not bad but is not the longest one. This is one light that alway stay inside my bag for the needed situation.
