Turn on every morning and keep it on most of the day.

We've purchased the majority of Sonos speakers because we can put them anywhere. The MOVE is great because we can take it anywhere too. Long battery life means more listening pleasures!

The set up was some what easy, however I am technically challenged. It took about 20minutes after that easy breezy and worth the sound.

This model is great. I use this and the One side by side to widen the range of sound. I grab the portable to take to other rooms

Fantastic sound

After buying my first Move, I have gone and bought two more to use in my home. (Sorry Sonos, Move2 doesn't interest me). This product ticks all the boxes. Links great with my Innuos. Shame it's not available in other colours and I hope a free standing charging stand is developed for it.

This is a great addition to my already extensive Sonos system. Looking forward to using the Move in the garden next sumer!

First impressions are good

We use this product to take outdoors and stream breathwork. I like the product. However, I have to say the process of setting up on Sonos and then on Bluetooth is complicated and I had to engage Sonos support to get it right. I love the product, it's just too complex to set up.

Great product - setup NOT easy though

Great product over the moon with it

Sound is excellent across the spectrum of volume, but..
I experienced some significant pairing issues when moving from indoor wifi to outdoor blue tooth and to another wifi, was not able to entirely resolve even with tech support, so using just in one wifi area. Tech support acknowledged the problem was known. The sound quality is peerless and excellent so surprised these other nagging issues persist. App could be better. Only reason I hesitate to recommend is so that hopefully this review is read by the company and would love a response.

Great sound, problematic pairing at times

the battery lacks play time, but this made up for in 2nd gen, as well as lacks the syncing wifi and bluetooth playing which the move 2 again makes up for. sound and portability is awsome, the ability to link any sonos speakers up with other speakers and or rooms lets you be anywhere in your house or garden. the Move and or Move 2 play music or audio books or audio of any kind clearly and cleanily and I would not purchase anything else if I waas looking for a sound system!

great product, excellant sound quality and portability, bat

Firstly what a lovely machine, great sound and truly portable. However, I took the speaker on a trip away without the base, relying on the usb c cable to charge. Annoyingly I didn't realise the specific power adapter required. I tried multiple usb a to c adapters connected to multiple usb c cables and nothing. I tried using 13a mains plug sockets with usb sockets and still no charge. I went to two electrical retailers and they couldn't sell me anything different to what I have. Needless to say we had the dreaded sound of an iPhone alone for company. 
To top it off I look on your sonos website and I can't even buy a 45w power adapter for the move (1). 
I see for sale a power base and adapter, an update on the move 2 where the power adapter is a separate item. Are these compatible with each other? I don't need another dock. Can you help me?

Versatile speaker which you can move around your House and outside. Whether its boosting a party or submitting internet radio with other speakers while working, it delivers crisp self-tuning sound to your needs. Bought second one for a pair to get movable surround and more bass for office room.

Versatile audio where ever you need

This is my new home office speaker. I also take it with me to other rooms and the garage. Looking forward to packing it for our vacation home later this year.

Great portable speaker

First of all I love the sound quality once I was able to add it to my Sonos network. Spent several attempts trying to get the speaker to be recognized in my Sonos app. I cannot tell you how many articles I read in Sonos support and on the web. I did finally find one article that helped. I almost gave up. Setup was frustrating be did end up working.

Setting up Move

So easy to add this unit to our system (replaced defective/dead 'Roam' unit). 

Have other Sonos ('Five and four One) speakers in reception room - presently using'Move' in adjacent kitchen.

Attempting to revive 'Roam' speaker - no success so far.

I would recommend this and other Sonos units.

Very easy to set up. The sound quality from this little machine is nothing short of amazing.
