This is a very nice sturdy unit with large handles. The biggest handle can be adjusted after tightened to be in a better position in relation to stand & umbrella. I'm using this with a speedlight.

Don't play around- just get this! This umbrella adapter is solid and made with high quality parts. It will last you for years and years. It functions well and smoothly without the weird clicking of some umbrella adapters as they go through its range. The only thing I've had wear out on these is the screw part on the brass adapter portion, but this was after a decade of use, and it's easily and cheaply replaced. It is also a standard size, so you can use it on future lights.

This is a little heavier than the generic "hard plastic" swivel adapters but it is so much better. The "hard plastic" adapter didn't stay in position with a heavy flash on it but the Manfrotto swivel adaptor stays put. It's also helpful to be able to position the side handle out of the way after you've tightened everything up. Definitely will buy more of these.

This thing has like a million and one uses and it's sturdy as all get out. Don't waste your money on plastic knock offs if you have manfrotto stands and riggings.

All metal construction, large knobs / handles for positive clamping. I use them with speedlights, but they would hold larger lights easily.

I use this product with my manfrotto lightstand 1052BAC and my lastolite 24" speedlite softbox. It holds my set up pretty well and comes with the highest build quality. Highly recommended. All manfrotto products are superb.

I use this product for my commercial photography business. They get tons of use almost every day. I love that it is all metal construction and very sturdy. I have had the plastic ones before but they always seemed to break when I needed them most. so I bought these and have been way more than satisfied. I have 4 of these now and have had them for 4-5 years and I just bought 2 more for two more lights. I dont think I'll ever need to buy another one because it was broken... and thats what I need in my business.

I needed something to be able to mount at various angles my Photofles extra small Octodome nxt to a lightstand. This swivel umbrella adapter does the job and has the versatility to be used for many other similar purposes. It is well made and should be very durable.
