The inexpensive one to get.
I don't normally use on camera mics, I usually use a boom. A few weeks ago, I thought I had everything I needed to shoot some behind the scenes footage. Unfortunately I had no way to mount my on camera mic to my Canon DSLR. A friend had one of these, and I used it for the first time. I was amazed at how well it worked, it's build quality and isolation of noise usually transmitted by other mic mounts. This thing really keeps the noise from touching, bumping or other movements from being picked up through the mount. I liked it so well, I bought my own. It is made of light weight metal material, and is small enought for easy transport. The rubber bands that hold the mic are strong, whereas others I have used weren't which casued the others to hold the mic flimsy, which could bang against the frame. This one does not do that. It stays put. Best for all uses.
