SDI to Analog Converter Does the Job

The Blackmagic SDI to analog converter fills the bill nicely. The camera signal is SDI coming to the control booth. This converter allows us to extract an S-video signal to feed the current switcher until we convert entire production to HD and analog component. The reason this is important is that we will use a low cost Tricaster 40 as the switcher and it only has component inputs. This unit provides conversion from SDI to either composite, S-Video, or component, take your choice. It also provides a pass through of the SDI signal for subsequent use if needed. Unit gets warm, but not excessively.
