The Grass Valley STORM 3G is a PCI Express card that enhances EDIUS 6 post-production and tapeless workflows by providing 3G-SDI input/output, HDMI output with embedded audio, multi-format editing and real-time preview monitoring. Able to handle any mix of HD and SD formats--and any combination of real-time effects--the STORM 3G also supports reference input, blackburst and tri-level sync as well as machine control for ingesting from an external VTR.
With its ability to provide full-resolution effects previews directly from an EDIUS timeline to affordable HDMI monitors, the STORM 3G makes an invaluable--and cost-effective--asset to any postproduction application.
