Kramer Electronics TP-124 Computer Graphics Video/Stereo and S/PDIF Audio RS-232 Over Twisted Pair Receiver

The Kramer Electronics TP-124 Receiver is a component of an array of products intended to extend the reach of computer cables, dramatically increasing the distance between source and monitoring station. This allows a user to cleanly extend their studio, video, or security applications beyond the short cabling that restricts the spacing of devices.

Using a compatible transmitter, the TP-124 can receive audio, data and video signals converted by a transmitter into a feed that is sent down a twisted-pair (Ethernet) cable. Any CAT5 network cable can be used to link Tx and Rx at a distance of up to 328' (100 m).

One added convenience is the Power Connect system, which allows both Tx and Rx to receive power from a single source; this feature requires both units to have the Power Connect system. To convert the signals from a standard computer video, data or an analog audio signal at the other end of your wiring configuration, use the Kramer TP-123, or any other compatible Kramer transmitter.
