About Kramer Electronics TP-141
The TP-141 Computer Graphics Video & Stereo Audio over Twisted Pair Transmitter from Kramer Electronics is one component in a transmission system designed to transport computer graphics video (including HDTV) and unbalanced stereo audio signals over twisted pair cable. Signals are input on standard audio-video connectors and then transmitted over Ethernet cable before being translated back to their original signal format for output.

It offers a system range of up to 750' (250m) when using Kramer BCP-HDTP cable, or 600' (182m) when using Kramer's standard skew-free cable, such as the BC-XTP
Use UTP (unshielded twisted pair) or STP (shielded twisted pair), such as CAT-5
It uses the Power Connect System, which only requires one unit in a system, the transmitter or the receiver, to be connected to a power source when the devices are within 150' (50m) of each other
This device belongs to the Compact Kramer TOOLS family of products and up to (3) of the units can be mounted side by side in 1U of rack space with the optional RK-3T rack adapter
